eating back workout calories?

I'm sure people ask this a million times but I'm still just so confused about whether or not I should be eating back my workout calories. It makes sense to but at the same time just kills me to eat what I worked so hard to get off! A couple of people recently have been telling me that I do need to eat them. Today I worked off 800 calories at the gym on the treadmill...so I tried to eat them back but I've had almost 2,000 calories and still my net isn't at 1200! I just can't eat anymore! I've gotten used to only eating around 1200-1300 a day for the past month. So what am I supposed to do?

Depends on your goals, current health, and body composition. Not knowing any of that, my answer will mean nothing so....eat them.0

Eat till you're not hungry, but try to eat at least some back. If you go over the next day, don't stress it either! 1200 is quite low, even if some days it feels like you're eating the kitchen!0
