Low Carb to Break a Plateau?

So I've weighed 158 lbs since Jan 30. It's been 6 weeks since I've lost any weight. I've checked my measurements and all of that. Nothing's changed in 6 weeks.

It's been really discouraging and even this week I'll admit that I've just been eating whatever I wanted because I felt like "what's the point? I'm not going to lose weight even if I try." So my diary is currently awful.

Anyways, I heard that switching to a low carb diet can help break a plateau. I'm wondering if anyone can confirm or deny this. It would be great if someone can speak from personal experience rather than just opinions.

Thanks!

Honestly, any sort of drastic change can help break a plateau. Some options you might try (probably not all at once, but who knows LOL)

    - eat more (add 300-400 calories to your day- just make sure it isn't junk!)
    - eat more fiber (veggies, beans, whole grains...)
    - stop eating wheat
    - eliminate processed foods
    - eliminate sugar
    - eliminate 'diet' drinks & foods

Whatever you do, give it 1-2 weeks before giving up. Let us know what works for ya!

(I know I only have 16lbs 'experience' on my ticker, but I've lost nearly 50lbs in the past.)
