How much do macros really matter?

I always seem to be very close to, or over my fat allowance for the day (35g). Does this make a difference in overall weightloss, when the caloric deficit is still adhered to?

They matter, but being really close, lets say ~5-10% you should be OK.

    I'd think so.
Mine are from nuts, natural PB, ground flaxseed, rice bran oil cooking spray, wholegrain bread and sometimes avocado

mine goes over too & i regularly eat avocadoes, natural nuts, & seeds - in fact these & maybe a small portion of seared chicken/fish/turkey is usually a snack for me :-/ ...... haven't been doing this long enough yet to know whether longterm this will affect my weightloss but i rarely go over calories .... aren't good fats actually sopposed to help your metabolism function efficiently???
