Eating more protein

I've started working toward eating more protein. I'm aiming for 120-150g per day, although sometimes I don't make it there. However, I'm having trouble with "reguarity" since adding the additional protein. I'm trying to eat high fiber foods and veggies and taking fiber capsules. I even resorted to a laxative last night because I hadn't gone for a couple of days. Any advice for me?
