I learned the importance of enough calories!

I've been extremely busy this past week and eating around 900-950 calories/day when I normally eat 14-1500. I never felt hungry, so I didn't think too much of it. I just didnt have time to eat. Today, like every Friday, I met with my trainer for strength training. About halfway through, I started getting dizzy and my face went totally white. My trainer had to jump to grab the weights I dropped, almost on my chest, and everything went black. It took a few minutes before I could really see straight and the first thing he asked me was what I've eaten today. He told me being busy isn't an excuse for inadequate nutrition.
So today I learned the importance of getting enough calories. And I wanted to share this for a reason.
I was really hesitant about joining MFP. I've tried counting calories before and became obsessed with always getting a lower number than the previous day. When I realized what I was potentially doing to myself, I stopping counting. Before I decided to give it another try, I spent hours reading articles and threads on MFP about why I NEED those calories and it has helped a lot! I actually printed some of them out to reference back to quickly when I'm worried that I'm eating too much when I'm closer to 1500 than 1400.
I just hope someone else who have the same hesitations I do can see this. Passing out at the gym was really scary. A heck of a lot scarier than going over my calorie goals!!
