Question for the men (or ladies!).

Do you consider large tattoos on women un-feminine (is that even a word? Hah.)? I know that's an odd question, but I have two tattoos that cover the back of my calves and sometimes I wonder what men would think if they saw me in shorts or a dress.
I know I shouldn't care what others opinions are, but I'm genuinely curious. I don't dress up a lot, but I almost feel like it'd be counterproductive if I wore a snazzy, girly dress then had these big *kitten* tattoos showing. Thoughts?

it's a personal decision to have tats. I don't have any, but in Hawaii many do. and the military get quite a few when they're here...0

Each to their own and I am always going to be interested in the person first.0
-
ooohhh I'm interested to know too.
Getting a large piece done on my hip/back.0 -
I think the actual design is more relevant than the size. A small tattoo of a penis on your face is more offputting than some flowers running up your spine.0

A unique body that follows a unique personality is always a good thing.0

Note to self: Cancel appointment to get penis tattoo on face......

I personally find it quite sexy, Im a tattoo virgin though so the tattoo'ed girls dont seem to go for guys who are bare, its a cruel world lol0

My husband has always said if depends on the art. Great art = incredibly sexy! Don't be shy, rock a cute dress if you want!0

The artwork does say the most about it. A woman with a huge Little Kitty gives off a different vibe from a woman with a fire-breathing dragon. I have to say that I find tattoos to be exciting as it shows the woman has an edge. Now, how much of an edge can determine whether I'd talk to her or not.0

Personally, I think women with tattoos are really sexy! It takes a loads of confidence to sport them, especially if they are as large as you say yours are... If i saw you out in a nice dress, heels, and looking sexy, your ink would only be a conversation starter! Sport them with pride!0

My lady crushes are exponentially increased if she has quite a bit of ink. I mean, a butterfly on the ankle is cute, but give me a woman with sleeves and a backpiece and you'll see some swooning!0

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and there are lots of men that are attracted to a woman with tats...0

You have tattoos of big *kitten*?! :noway:
Some folks will think you look hot, some folks won't like them. Personally, I love the juxtaposition of feminine clothing and tattoos. But then again, I wore a denim jacket over my wedding gown.0 -
My husband loves tattoos on women. In fact he was the one that paid for mine. I think that it's personal preference, if you think it's feminine or not.0
-
I personally don't like them but to each their own. If they mean something to you than that is your business. Why get something if you are not proud of it? Show them off and love yourself and the rest will follow :-)0
-
It's up to the person. But my husband and I do not have any tattoos, and we never will. Just our preference.0

Depends what and where. Personally I don't like leg tattoos. I've never seen one that I thought was complimentary.
I think back is ok depending on the size and what it is. I've seen girls with dragons/fairies/medievil crap on their backs and I find it to be extremely unattractive.
The tattoos I do think are attractive are the ones that draw attention to certain areas without covering them up too much...flowers/stars/etc going up the side is cute. Shoulders can be cute. Something small on the back can be cute. Stomach can be sexy. Something small in the pelvic area is incredibly sexy...
Areas that should never be touched...Chest, Face/head, Butt, Legs. In my opinion.0 -
Tattoos are SEXY!!
That is, unless you get them from "Jailhouse Lenny" for a carton of cigarettes and some blow :laugh:0 -

Thanks for the laugh!!!0 -
Most guys I know think tats are hot, whereever. I guess girls with tats seem like they'd be more fun.
I personally do not want to get a tattoo, but I will admit there's something sexy about a man who has one... maybe I admire his pain tolerance as a sign of strength. Though some tats are more evidence of drunken stupidity than strength, lol!0 -
Personally, I find tattoos very sexy on a petite female frame.
On a woman who looks likes she's just come from the docks looking for an arm wrestle...not so much0 -
I'm considering getting a quarter sleeve.0

My hip is covered with a big piece, I plan on adding more too. I have not had a issue with guys finding in unattractive. There are people attracted to all types, it may turn off some, but I know there are plenty who love them. I am more likely to check a guy out who has tattoos than one who doesnt, it catches my eye, gives him more of a reason for me to look LOL.0

i like small & cute tats. in my opinion.
if it has to be big, it usually looks hot on the lower back

I am always temped to ask for the story, you know behind the ink. All mine have meaning, I'm a big fan of symbolism and will never have words or dates on my body. I do think some tattoo's are just plain stupid, and others beautiful. I try not to judge, to each their own right0
-
I have 9 small tattoos and they all have special meaning to me. They are a reminder of where ive been and what Ive been through. Everyone expresses themselves in different ways. Mine can be covered or shown if I want. I admit I am more attracted to men with ink...but I like there to be a story...or originality...maybe something to tell me about their personality. Its a choice we all make.0

I'm not sure how many people actually find that placement attractive anymore...it has such a negative stigma...I enjoy it personally but people talk a lot of *kitten* about it....Gotta love a target though0
