MFP set my intake of calories at 1600 but im doing 1200 with no problems but what im curious about is are you suppose to eat 1200 net calories or 1200 calories? I walk 2 miles everyday at a steady pace and ive been eating 1200 calories and im not losing any weight. its starting to get frustrating so im wondering if maybe im not eating enough. I normally end my day with 1000-1150 net calories...

The 1600 MFP suggested is probably net after factoring in your desired rate of fat loss. Try bumping up your calories a bit (I know it's counter intuitive, but sometimes you just need a bit more fuel)0

1200 NET0

1430 net, because I lift, and I need more than the 1200 I was doing when I just did cardio. And I usually eat back all or at least most of my 600-800 workout calories.0

if MFP has ur goal as 1600 cals, then u shud be netting 1600 cals... theres a reason ur not losing weight - ur not hitting ur calorie goal!0

i try and ensure my GOAL and NET are THE SAME as far as possible0

large deficits dont always work, and the majority of people around here find that upping their calories works.0
