......that tonight I wanted to exercise so that I could get some extra calories so that I could eat? I was hungry and didn't have many calories left so I thought about going on the treadmill for a bit to gain some more calories. Has this happened to anyone else? I didn't do it in the end but had an apple and some laughing cow cheese which put me over 98 calories....

I've run to the gym after eating a sandwich at a restaurant that turned out to be 800 cals! I did it to make sure I didn't go way over and feel defeated for the day, it's a nice feeling to be that motivated
Good snack choice btw!0 -
I do it all the time! I stick to 1800 cal/day IF I walk for an hour on the treadmill in the AM (I burn 300 cal. in an hour). Sometimes I will hop back on an hour or two later for 30 minutes or so while watching TV...an extra 150 calories I can eat! ;-)
I was particularly hungry today and had already consumed 1,200 calories by 2 p.m. I had 600 left. My dinner usually averages 500 calories, but I really, really wanted a bowl of ice cream afterwards (ice cream is my downfall). I knew that I would either have to forgo the ice cream OR get back on the treadmill for 40 minutes to *earn it*!!! (and that's what I did) !!0 -

I've been told it is 'wrong' but I still like my logic better... I do it periodically, though it probably does little else but make me feel better. Good luck :flowerforyou:0
