Avoid packaged foods (cans, boxes and frozen)and eating out. Eat fresh fruits, veggies and foods you make yourself . Then no extra sodium can sneak on your plate.0

2000 over every day is not great. Salt is everywhere, and just about the only way to reduce it is to prepare food yourself so you have more control. 99.9% of restaurant food is sodium loaded. But the aisles in the grocery store can be pretty sodium-loaded too. Stick to the outsize of the store - fresh produce, fresh meat, etc.
Eat fresh chicken instead of those frozen chicken breasts because they're injected with brine. Limit soups, chili, canned food, most lunchmeat and frozen prepared meals.
Even vegetables have sodium, but you have to eat those. Balance out your diet with fruit, fruit has none or very little sodium.0 -
Shop in the outside parameters of the grocery store. No canned, frozen, or boxed foods!0
