  • Wow that is great!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I walked steady on the treadmill for 55 min. total. That was huge for me. Up from 10 minutes a week ago. I am charged. Let's do this!

    Thanks everyone! I still can't believe it is real! I am going to assume that the reason I was able to do it was because I was on a treadmill? I have never tried running on a treadmill before, just outside. I did put it at a 1.5% incline because I have read on here that is what you need to do to make it like running outside. All I know is that my body is screaming at me today! My knees feel like someone smashed them in with a hammer. LOL My walk with the dog this morning was...interesting!

    Congrats! And you should know that the first two miles are the hardest. If you can run two, you can run ANY distance. :drinker:

  • Great accomplishment!! I too have had some major health concerns that prohibit me from doing as much as i would like to do but it's amazing what faith and determination can do! Great job you have a lot to be proud of and are an inspiration!!

    That is fantastic!! I can't wait to run 2 miles again. I did it after 10 months of slowly building up 2 years ago, and when I finally did it, my kids and I threw a party. LOL I can't wait to get back to that point. Go you!!!

    That is a GREAT NSV. I can't wait until I can say that! I am currently doing C25K and I am on week 2 and 90 seconds is a challenge for me! lol
