No Results Thus Far with Ripped in 30

I remember by level 1 day 7 (out of 10) of 30 Day Shred I was beginning to lose some inches. Not a ton, but some.
Now I've finished day 3 (out of 7) of Ripped in 30 and haven't seen any decrease in inches. I've lost some weight but I do see any real toning like I did before.
Is this normal to not see anything after 9 days of doing the program? (I did level 1 for only 6 days cause it wasn't doing much for me). Or am I just being impatient? I just figured I'd see something by now since this is suppose to be at least a little tougher than 30 Day Shred (although I don't think level one of Ripped was all that harder).
I would be happy just to lose one inch off my natural waist and naval area, some more toning in my thighs/butt would be nice too.
My abs have been pretty sore with level 2 also. Is that a good sign that I'll eventually lose inches by the end of this level?

be patient with it... but i've never heard as many people rave about Ripped as they do Shred... I think because Shred is alot more cardio intensive it helps shift the inches, Ripped is more about toning.0

I just figured the reason for so little raving was cause not many people do it or don't finish it. I've seen reviews about the first two levels but I don't usually see anything after that. The cardio is pretty intense for me ... at least on level 2. That first circuit is a real pain. I don't know how the other levels' cardio is though.0

Well Ripped in 30 is far newer than Shred, so that may account for the buzz around it in general. However, I think the OP should do more cardio in addition to Ripped in 30. You are only in the beginning stages of the program, and as you get fitter you will lose slower than you did before. I did the Shred a few times, but I think Ripped in 30 beats it by a mile. All the reviews on Amazon.com and the internet favors ripped in 30 too.0

I just finished the shred and am moving onto ripped in 30. I saw a lot of positives about it but I guess i'll see soon. My one thought is if you just finished the shred you probably lost faster because it was something totally new for your body. If ripped in 30 is not much different then you might want to add some extra cardio in there.
I typically get on the bike or elliptical for 20 or 30 minutes after the video. I felt I wasn't losing any weight with the shred but once I started doing that i started to notice more of a difference. Even if you alternate your days with cardio one day and then the ripped the next day I think that would make a difference. Good Luck!
I hope to try ripped in 30 tonight, i have to try to fit it in between dance class and bath time.. LOL.0 -
I'm starting to see some small results now. I'm not losing inches like I did in 30 Day Shred but I think that's because my body didn't get much of a beating from level 1 and I didn't give level 2 much time. I have a feeling that more results will come with level 3 and 4. I'm having a cheat day for tomorrow and Wednesday so that will two things will come from that:
1) Weight/inch gain (water retention with some fat)
2) A really good work out on Wednesday and Thursday.
I tend to lose weight really quick after cheating too so that might push my body to burn more too. The cardio in level 2 wipes me out though. I think I've lost a fraction on an inch (like a 1/4 of an inch) from my waist and if I measured correctly then I lost a half inch from my naval. So maybe I spoke too soon. I would love to see a full inch leave my waist though0 -

You will most likely feel sore afterwards. 30 Day Shred never made me sore or retain water but Ripped in 30 always makes me sore when I start a new level. Heck, I finished day 5 of level 2 and I still feel sore, just in a different area. First few days I felt sore in my stomach and abs and now I'm sorer in my shoulders and arms.0 -
I say finish a program completely before you decide how well it worked. 3 days is nothing.......that's like going on a diet for 3 days and wondering why you didn't lose 20-50-100lbs.
EVerything takes time, I've done C25K twice, P90X twice, 30 Day shred, Extreme shed and shred and I"m on week 2 of the ripped in 30 program to get to where I am.......plus countless hours and hours of extra cardio and strength training on the side. Oh and it's been 2 years.0 -

The misunderstanding here is my fault. It wasn't just three days. It was three days on level 2 and six days on level 1. Making it nine days, it's not been twelve days but I have had some small results now.
Congrats on all the work you've done though.0
