Ok, since I've plateaued Banks has suggested that I lift up my calories, and I agree with him. So, I've put myself on a maintenance intake for the next couple of weeks until my body starts doing what I want it to. The thing is, this is adding about 600 calories to my day, and on exercise days, 1000-1500 calories. I'm not anywhere near used to eating this much food.

So, what I need are snack suggestions on things that I can put in my desk at work for snacking. I'm mainly looking for whole foods... I usually have a big tin of raw almonds so far that I usually have with lunch. Maybe some trail mix is in order?

String cheese doesn't have to be kept super cold...you could bring that and eat it earlier than your other options. Nuts and trail mix are good, granola, fruit leather, granola bars, organic fruit bars/crackers (you can find these minimally processed from places like Cascade Farms and Kashi), fruit. Good luck! I also had to increase my calories quite a bit to break my plateau and it worked like a charm.

i keep 2 things in my snack drawer at work at all times: jack link's premium cut jerky and nuts. i'm never hungry. the jerky gives me totally lean protein, and the nuts give me protein and healthy fats. they can account for a 300 calorie snack anytime.

Hmm, I could try it with seitan? Sadly I'm a crazy vegetarian so jerky won't work for me :)

Well, I went to big lots to see what they had. Ended up buying 2 packs of fiber one bars, 2 more tins of almonds, some snack packs of granola, and some trail mix. I'll see about the string cheese as well. Thanks :)

How about hard cooked eggs? Unless your office is roasting, they should be fine to carry to work.

Instant oatmeal would make a good office snack if you have access to a microwave for hot water.

Edited: sorry, not a whole food.
