Cleaning toxins out of the system is not really silly. The American diet is loaded with toxins. Look at all the chemicals on nearly any food label. They do not even list the chemicals that went on the plants before they were picked. We are poisoning ourselves with bad food and chemicals which "in small quantities should be tolerated by the average person."
Some foods are hard on the digestive system, like cheese and beef. If a person wanted to flush the toxins out of the system, a diet of high fiber, organic fruits and vegetables would clear it out.

By definition, a toxin is poison. If you have poison in your body, you should drive straight to the ER. otherwise, it's complete and utter non-sense. You do not have toxins in your body. Sheesh.

    Unless you're this guy

+1 I'm tired of seeing people trash cleanses on this board. You all go on eating your brominated
vegetable oil, msg, BHT, BHA, TBHQ, sodium nitrite and nitrate and all your artificial sweeteners, colors and flavors. Yum!

Your body full of amazing organs already has a wonderful system of cleaning any/all "toxins" out of your body.

What kind of poisons am I eating? I assume you mean tasty tasty poisons!

Yes our body is full of amazing organs that clean the toxins that we daily put into it, but that doesn't mean that we can't damage those organs with toxic overload. Ever heard of cirrhosis of the liver?

This is just ignorance. We put toxins into our bodies all the time without needing to drive to the ER. My friend just had her Dr. inject her forehead with a neurotoxin called botulinum. I guess it makes her feel pretty and stuff. I just drank some toxins the other night when I had a lovely glass of wine.

Do you get frequent nosebleeds up there on that high horse?

Tried the CHIP diet for 1 month a while back. Really slimmed down and managed to buff out my upper body a bit -- see pic:

We all have toxins in our bodies. We mostly get them from food, water and air.
