bodymedia fit

I bought a bodymedia fit. It comes with a 3 month subscription for the online tracking, once that is up I am debating on getting the subscription through them or buying a subscription on Ebay ( about 1/2 the price) has anyone bought a subscription from Ebay. I am a bit unsure of the legitimacy of them. Any help would be great, thanks
