Pain in calfs

When I run, i get this shooting pain in both of my calfs, it doesn't last very long, from about a minute into the run to maybe another 5-10 minutes, then it goes away, it's just annoying when i'm trying to focus on my running and it takes over my mind for a while.
I'm stretching and warming up properly, so I'm unsure what the problem could be?

My roommate gets something like that. Do you wear a knee brace?

I'm fairly new to running but from what I've read so far, it could possibly be your shoes or your form (eliminating stretching since you mentioned you already do that)

Make sure you are staying hydrated with plenty of water.

The first 5-10 minutes of a run are the worst for me, and if I have any pain, usually in the knees for me, it is then and it eases as I get warmed up. Doing some dynamic warm ups and stretching to start and that might help you out.
