Im confused. I have my # of calories to consume in a day to lost 1lb a week to get to my goal. Fine. Then I exercise and it tells me I have 500 more calories to eat.....why does it do that? Wont I get a faster result by NOT eating them or is it the 'eating enough calories' thing that I dont always get......HELP!!

Since MFP already calculates a calorie deficit for you, any you burn through exercise should be eaten or you will be left with too large a deficit. This would cause problems for your body - vital organs such as the brain need a basic number to allow you to function.0
