As someone who is just learning to run I had to share a discovery I had today...
It is easier to stay motivated to run when it is 29 degrees outside than when it is warm! Brrrr, the more you run the warmer you stay, the more you walk, the chillier you get!! I did better at my runing today than I thought I would!

True! Our weather has been crazy lately (but not nearly as cold as yours - 29º! Brrr!) - I bundle up for Tuesday's run, and wear a tank top & shorts on Saturday's! And while it's harder to get out the door when it's chilly, it does keep you moving to stay warm!

I love running in the winter. If you're dressed properly you can run outdoors all year 'round (the only thing pretty much guaranteed to keep me indoors is freezing rain). Yup - you want to keep moving!
