My husband comes home tonight after being gone for about two weeks...and told me I should wear something sexy to the airport...as in a skirt and tank top...To which I reminded him that even though he's been in California and Nevada where it's been in the 60s-70s, we live in Montana where it still drops down to 15-20 at night so no skirt, jeans it is...and if I could find something to wear over a tank top, I would...

So, I went digging through my closet for something to wear over a tank top. But most of my coats are huge winter coats and most of my shirts, button t-shirts...Then I found my leather coat. Thinking that might work, I tired it on...

OMG, I was DROWNING in this coat! Last year at at this time, it was the only coat I wore because it zipped over a sweatshirt...Now I could probably wear 2 or 3 sweatshirts under it and still zip it up. I knew I had lost weight and sizes in the lower half but it didn't sink in til I tried that coat on that the top half has shrunk too (makes sense, but it just hasn't felt that way)

SO LONG leather coat...you are going into the "give away for fricken ever pile"!!!

Bravo! Such a wonderful surprise. Hard to say goodbye to a good leather coat, though. Well, you could give it a 'thanks for the memories' sendoff and wear it just one more time...all by itself, to the airport to pick up your husband :-)
