NSV alert!

I used to love to swim and swim until I was exhausted. That meant until my arms and legs got tired. But today we went swimming, and I noticed a couple things. First off I had to buy a new suit because a baggy crotched swim suit is unbecoming. Second, I could swim for a lot longer than I could, say, 65 pounds ago. And third, this time, when I was exhausted, it was because my heart was hammering and I was breathless. Swimming is hard when you have WAY less buoyancy, because fat floats! and when you lose a lot of fat, you don't float as easily! I used to be able to tread water just by using my legs, not anymore!

Such a strange feeling. I used to feel heavy all the time, except when I was in the water. Now that I have lost a chunk of weight, I feel light, EXCEPT in the water!
