can i start toning?

I am only down 7lbs (13 all together from the most i have ever weighed to now). I do a lot of cardio training to burn calories and started doing HIIT. I also use resistance bands to tone my arms. I saw the Jillian Michaels killer buns and thighs dvd and i really wanna get it but I am scared that I will bulk up and not get my thighs any smaller. Should I wait until I lose more weight before starting this?

    I say go for it. Putting some strength training in the routine helps you burn way more calories than just cardio alone.

    Don't wait!! It was when I started weight training I started losing weight! High Intensity Interval Training and weights combined will help you (along with a good diet of course). Good luck and don't be afraid of bulking up because that is not going to happen!

    the only way you'd bulk up is if you started eating way over your maintenance calories. go ahead and start now. :smile:
