Yes, I still buy the cliff bars however because they are the same price for twice the size of the luna bar. More calories but I eat only half and save half for later if needed. They are my breakfast on the run or hunger fix while I am driving so I dont stop somewhere and buy crap.

Target is the cheepest place I have found them yet to buy in bulk. :)

They don't really have THAT much protein if that's what you're after. They taste good though.

I am a BIG fan of the Luna bars as a snack, but I find I need a bit more protein to go with them - some greek yogurt, or light cheese.

If you're looking for a higher protein snack, get the Clif Builders Bar - only 100 cals more @ 270 calories and 20g of protein.
these are a STAPLE for me. I buy them by the case and keep them at my office and in my car lol.

The Luna bars are good and if you are looking for more protein, the Luna protein bars are good as well. My favorite of the Luna bars is probably the Lemon Zest and the best protein one is the mint chocolate. Target is a good place to get them, as well as Giant Eagle (especially when they are on sale).

I had a clif bar once and it made me sick the rest of the day, too much of something in it

Sorry, If thats the case you might not want to try the Luna bars. They have most of the same ingredents. I have IBS and sometimes they bother me too but its not an all the time thing. Could it have been just the flavor you tried? Good luck, I hope you find something that works.

I use protien shakes too, maybe that could help you too?

They're natural, enhanced with some vitamins and minerals, and they taste good. So, in that respect they're a better option than a candy bar. But they are still carby and usually have a fair chunk of sugar in them. They don't really have a lot of protein at all, not even the "protein" versions. They're still much higher on carb to protein ratio overall.

That said, I do enjoy them. But I tend to eat them for the carb aspect of things, based around running needs. Sometimes having a mini after a mid-length run, or using a bar for my breakfast on race days (10-K and under) when I just need to get some carbs and quick fuel in without waking up too early cuz I can run on in my stomach without feeling full.

Balance Bar Bare (only the Bare, the rest are filled with fake sugar and other ingredients) has, as the name implies, a balance of 40/30/30 for carbs/fat/protein, so they have a bit more protein and are still natural.

If you want to start getting into bars that truly pack a higher protein ratio then you start losing options of natural ingredients. But bars like PowerCrunch have a high protein, high fat, low carb combo. Pure Protein have a high protein, low sugar combo. But both of those are filled with fake sugars to accomplish that, so they can actually be rough on sensitive stomachs due to all the fake stuff.
