When I am tracking food on here, am I better off listening each ingredient, like lets say, in a salad or sandwich, then finding it in the list?

It depends how often you eat it. If it's something you eat all the time, it's easier to create a food or recipe.0

If you are making it, make a recipe. My salads are 4 oz romaine and 6 oz grilled chicken for example; I'd rather document it myself and know what I'm eating rather than use somebody else's "Salad with Chicken".0

This totally makes sense. I was searching for just a generic salad, but none were the same as what I had! I didnt know I could do my own recipes and foods till after I ready this, so that helped too!thanks
