Yard work NSV

I love to get out and work in the yard, especially this time of year. Haven't done any in the last few years, at least not enough to call it "yard work". I was just too overweight and it was just too much of a struggle.

This AM, bright and early, I got out there and raked leaves, transplanted some bushes, weed eated (or is it weed ate  ), cleaned up branches and limbs from the winter....and 4 hours later, I am pooped. But I look outside, and I feel proud that I was able to do all of that.

Good for you - did you log it? And I'm thinking it might be "weed-eatered".

I am jealous of your being able to start the outdoor chores. It's a bit too early for that yet here in Minnesota. Congrats on your success and best of luck going forward.

I did the same thing today! I spent 4 hours outside fighting with an over-grown bush trying to get it looking better. It should have been pruned 12 years ago. However, 4 hours later, at LEAST a dozen trips back and forth to the burn pile and I'm exhausted! And my thubmb is killing me as I raked the hand saw across it while not wearing loves like an idiot. Loving the yard work NSV!

I didn't wear gloves either and have a blister or two and more than a few scrapes and cuts from the branches and those annoying sticker vines.... :grumble:

I did several hours of yard work today too. How would one log that? Just curious. YAY for both of us!!!
