Sore after Ripped in 30

I have been doing Jillian Michaels "ripped in 30" on and off for a couple months now, as I didn't follow her plan to do the video 5-6 times a week. Some of this has been because I was sore after the 1st day of week 3, as well as after 1st time and 4th time of week 4, among other times. I do her stretches afterward, but sometimes feel as if I have to take 2 days off of a certain work out because my muscle group is still sore! I want to be able to re-do this DVD properly from week 1-week 4 and be able to do it 5-6x a week...so what should I do to prevent the pain??
