I just want to know everyone's opinion of heart rate monitors. How many of you use them? How have they helped with your weight loss journey? I am thinking of getting one but I am not sure.

I use mine every time I work out and I love it. It gives you exact data on calories burned, etc. I would definitely recommend using one!

I would recommend one especially if you are starting out. They help take the guesswork out of your calorie expenditures and you can accurately track on here. I used mine up until I reached a hundred pounds down. Great investment.

An absolute must! But not for weight training, unless your weight training is in the form of circuits and/or HIIT. They tend to over estimate your calories burned during normal weight training.

I have a Polar F4 that I love. The first time I used it I found out the gym calorie counter was off by 200 calories! Instead of burning 450, I was burning 250. Made a dietary adjustment and started losing weight again. I recommend it. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
