Colon Cleanse

Does anybody have any information on colon cleansing? I've heard they are helpful in losing weight and gaining more energy. Has anyone tried them? If so, what is a good reliable brand to use? I tried a free trial of one I found on the internet, but I think it must have been a scam because the compay wouldn't stop calling me so I eventually cancelled and stopped taking it (it didn't make me feel any different) What is everyones thoughts?
