Have you tried Acai berry or the colon cleanse?

I noticed acai berry supplements and colon cleanse pills are advertised on her a lot lately. Has anyone tried the "free" trial? I clicked on "free" trial, but it seems like they are still wanting to charge me for the product and the shipping and handling. I decided to stop and take a step back before going ahead with this. Any comments are much appreciated! Have a wonderful day!

I bought some acai supplements at a local heath food store. I figured I'd try it for the antioxidants. Many people said it helped the immune system, too.

don't do it! i tried the free trial of acai berry which gave me a discounted bottle of the colon cleanse. it says using the two will help you lose lots of weight quickly. while the acai berry did give me a lot of energy, the combination of the two didn't do anything for weight lose.

i had to pay for shipping & handling of the acai berry and a few months later i had random charge of $99 on my credit card from the 'acai berry max shop.' luckily i was able to dispute the charge and get my money back but they people i got the free trial from definitely can't be trusted.

ipso facto: don't waste your money on the colon cleanse. if you need/want the acai berry antioxidants and energy - purchase a bottle through a health food store.

I'm somewhat mortified:embarassed: to say yes, I tried the Acai berry/colon cleanse combination. I didn't find that the product helped me at all. I was expecting the cleanse to have cleansing effects, but the opposite was true. Their cancellation/return policy is extremely strict (return within 15 days from the time they ship it out) and I misunderstood that little detail and I was stuck with the product and payments for it. Lots of hype, little return - my fault for looking for the easy way out! I think Acai berry is a good anti-oxidant, but the return policy was the same and the price was high - you can get a similar product locally for less money.

How did you like the acai supplement from the local health food store?

I got the free trial and wasn't entirely unhappy with the results although a (ahem lower priced) energy pill does about the same thing. I agree the colon cleanse was a waste and while the acai DID give me energy-I would say the mad hours I logged at the gym as a result of that would be the ACTUAL reason I lost weight. =) I DID lose the 25lbs they stated was possible so it was a good jumpstart and got me motivated but since I have returned the pills (so all I paid was shipping and handling-I'm cheap and free trial a lot so I was careful to get it back on time lol) I take One a Day Energy for Women and it works exactly the same. If you DO want to try it I concur with the buying it at the store. Not sure about where you are at but they sell the same pills from the commercials (Acai Berry Edge) at the local GNC.

And feel free to disagree but I absolutely 100% do not reccomend Hydroxycut. I have no idea if other people have gotten results but my friend (and my actual friend not a friend of a friend) and I tried it out once and it was very detrimental to our health. I do not feel confident in that product at all.

Hope that helps and good luck!
