I have a fatty tumor (lipoma) on my back just below my bra line. It is between the size of a bouncy ball and a golf ball to the touch but to look at me its like I have a 'fat roll' on only one side. I'm not trying to be gross. I want to know if anyone has ever gotten one removed or if anyone knows if it will shrink with weightloss etc. Just anyone who is willing to share I am interested in what you know. Thanks.

Hi, it won't go with weight loss, you will need to have it removed. It's a minor op. Just do it!

Thanks I showed my doctor like 5 years ago and he said just leave it alone but maybe after I lose more weight I will show him again because it is really big and ugly

Surgery is the only option, its essentially calcified fat tissue. Even if your PCP doesn't recommend surgery, you can always seek a surgeon on your own.

I will ask him again. Its not comfortable. I wonder where it came from? I have tiny ones on my arm one or two...but so small I hardly ever notice
