Im looking for something quick and filling for breakfast. It needs to be under 300 cals. I hate protean shakes and I am allergic to wheat. Any ideas?

if you're allergic to wheat, can you eat oats? A 1/2 cup of quick oats (cook in microwave for 1 minute with 1 cup water) is 150 calories...add a little fruit or nuts and you're all set. I have oatmeal every day for breakfast and I find it really filling.

Greek yogurt with some fruit on top?

Piece of toast like Sara Lee 45 Delicious and some PB2 peanut butter, and a piece of fruit?

Oatmeal (not sure about the wheat thing)

Egg white omelet with some veggies or cheese? I use the Great Value (Walmart) egg white stuff in a carton.
  • Almond butter spread on your favorite gluten free crackers
  • greek yogurt, sliced banana, drizzle of honey = 250

    smoothie: 1 cup skim milk (80) 1 banana (100) 1 tbsp pb (95) = 275

    1 hard boiled egg (70) 1 piece of fruit (70-100) and 1 oz nuts (160) = 300-330

Make up some egg beater muffins with your choice of veggies in a muffun pan. You can make up a pan of them and freeze them and then microwave on the way out the door.

even better (no offense) use actual eggs :)

Yoghurt or oats topped with fruit and nuts
    Omelet with veggies
    Banana omelet
    Pancakes made with oat flour
And of course wheat-free bread or crackers with whatever you fancy

egg whites with vegies or I like a bit of canadian bacon and mozzarella cheese. Or I like old fashioned oats with blueberries and brown sugar for a whopping 175 calories. But is oatmeal a wheat product? Not sure....
