I know I've seen similar questions on here.... did you try doing a search of the forums? I honestly don't really know. But if your fitbit tracks calories then couldn't you just create your own exercise then key in your cals burned?

*shrug* I lot it as HIIT.

Perhaps you don't realise that while there are some standard ones in the database, you can also create your own exercises.

Hence people logging things like "Flinging rubble into a skip" or "Wand Exercises with Professor Flitwick"...
  • If you have a HRM, you can enter in your calories burned via average HR during the whole exercise. Create the exercise yourself :]

I bought a heart rate monitor that counts calories burned and logged my HIIT workout that way.

I just give it a value and log it under a name...

For example my Crossfit workouts I register the lifts or exercises (reps/weights/etc...) and then log itunder the Cardio section as my own workout...as for calories burned I am not that concerned since i don't eat my burned calories back - so I give it a basis based on what we are doing...on a day when we are doing some lifts and then some skill work I might just log it as 150 calories - on other days (like the other day when I was doing rounds of pull-ups, pushups and squats) I give it a higher calorie burn because my burn is going to be higher on those than something like deadlifts or push presses

I do my HIIT on the treadmill & log the calories from tghe treadmill as they are conservative compared to the MFP in general.
