NSV - I'm getting STRONGER! :)

I hit the gym today, and, inspired by the thread on the difference lifting heavy can make, I set about getting back into it.
I used to regularly do a set of exercises using a 20lb barbell, which may seem small, but that's my heaviest to date.
Anyway, last week I tried to do my old routine, and couldn't lift the bar, for some reason. I put it down to having a bad day and tried again today, and I could do it! 6-8 reps on each set, 2 sets per exercise, and it was HARD!
But, the best part is, I was also using an EZ bar with a 3lb plate on either end for curls. I learned from one of the trainers today that the EZ bar weighs about 20lbs, that takes my total on the EZ bar, for curls, to 26lbs! 6lbs heavier than I've EVER lifted for any exercise.
I want to use that weight for more stuff but the EZ bars are usually sat on our 2 preacher curl benches and I feel bad taking them away to do other stuff...
As long as I bring them back, it's OK, right?

Aww thank you! I don't really see it as inspiring, there are people on here, both men and women, lifting far more in order to help their weight loss. I'm just starting out on that journey0
