What do you eat on your rest day?

Hello all,

I'm in a bit of a pickle. I started couch to 5k yesterday and had a fab run. Today is meant to be my rest day, I certainly don't want to run again as I am feeling yesterday's run in my thighs and I have workout plans for everyday for the rest of this week (yoga and more runs). My daily calorie goal (if no exercise) is set to 1200 calories. However I am now at 1,020 and I am soooo hungry. I haven't had any dinner yet :( I really want to have my dinner, which will be 346 calories, which will put me over my goal for the day.

If I go over my goal is it going to screw things up? The last week or so I have been losing and gaining the same pound it seems, and I just want it off!!!!!!!

On your rest day, do you find yourself getting hungry, because you're used to eating more calories the rest of the time when you're exercising?

If I'm on a rest day, I try to eat my BMR - No less than 1450 calories for me. If you're exercising regularly, I don't see a great reason for you to eat only 1200 calories on a rest day.
