To cut a long story short, I have suffered with anorexia for most of my life(from the age of six to present, I'm twenty this week). I also started vomiting after meals when I was sixteen, and still purge regularly. I have had short periods of recovery but have always fallen back into this. Throughout the anorexia, I ate a 'clean' diet, only the lowest calorie fresh fruit and veg. I can't eat alot all at once because I will purge. I have a nutritionist and outpatient team and I have had plans to help me but it never works out that well. I have spent most of my life in hospital and I don't want to keep going back. I want to get better and gain slowly, but through a healthy manner. I know all the food groups are important it's just some foods I can't tolerate. Any advice would be great. Thank you.
