Does anyone have any ideas on how to detox the body from a bad food binge weekend? I'm hating this bloated, upset stomach, heartburn feeling and want to get back on track ASAP!!!!

Just drink a lot of water and go back to normal healthy eating. The water will work better than any magical pill, tea, powder, etc.

    Why did you eat toxins?

I agree with water. Lemon water is also a good way to "detox." I try to also eat more greens after a day of bad choices (like today, was feeling sick and had cup a noodle soup). I am going to stick to salad with homemade dressing and fruit for the rest of the day.

Your liver does its job just fine. No need to detox. Just eat good food.

I agree with the water and getting back into your regular routine. I personally feel better after drinking green tea.

Potassium will also help you get rid of excess sodium so a banana or avocado can't hurt.

Boil some water 8 oz. in a tea kettle or microwave and squeeze fresh lemon in it. Suppose to help with the bloating.

Back to your normal schedule. But if you want a full detox I would reccommend a "Juice Fast."
  • Water, water, water! Make sure not to punish yourself for your binge by not eating enough calories, etc. Make a healthy green smoothie, eat lots of lean protein, and hydrate.
