A ball bearing is placed on an incline plane and begins to roll. The angle of elevation of the plane is θ.
The distance (in meters) the ball bearing rolls in t seconds is
s(t) = 4.9(sin θ)t^2
a. Determine the speed of the ball bearing.
b. What value of θ will produce the maximum speed at a particular time?
a. v(t)=9.8(sin &theta)t
b. 90 degrees0 -

Wait a second -- this is actually a reading test, not a test in rocket science:
a s(t)/t since s(t) is the number of meters traveled in t seconds then s(t)/t is the number of meters traveled in one second and thus the speed in meters per second
b &theta = 90. That is to say you drop it straight down -- always faster than rolling down a ramp!0 -
I must have serious issues...there are some things that I just do NOT want to know about my little sister (IRL), and yet I still clicked to open this thread out of some sort of morbid curiosity...lol
Ooooh....In light of the above post, OP, what is the worst thing you have done to ^^^^^ that sister that she doesn't already know about?
LMAO Be careful what you wish for!!0 -

sin&theta? maybe you mean sin(Ɵ)?0
