Is it ok to go over

Is it ok to go over my daily target of protien? I haven't gone over calories or fat, is that going to matter in the long run?

    haha no not for protein, protein is good as you know.

    fat and calories are fine to go over a bit, it wont really effect your weight loss

    I always go way over and it has never been a problem for me.

    Just dont exceed 2.5g per kg of body weight, and you'll be fine.
  • If your protein is 'clean' whole food then it's ok to go over but make sure it's in portions that are not too big. Watch your fats and sugars. Protein builds and repairs muscle so it's essential to eat in all meals. Depending on your calories 90 to 100grams of protein x 5 is essential :)
