Eat more and lose more?

Okay, so I have been reading all over the boards to up your calories; try the Olivia Method, starvation mode, etc. I was at 1200, but quickly realized that was not enough to sustain me. I then changed my goal to lose 1lb per week which in turn changed my daily calories to 1420. I have now gone two weeks in a row without losing (and actually gaining 2.2lbs). I have lost inches throughout all this time, but not really the pounds. I do still have weight to lose. I am about 6lbs over the highest weight for my healthy weight range still.
I do work out daily...nothing extreme. Currently I am doing 30DS, Zumba and walking. I work out 5-6 (usually 6) days a week. I at least walk everyday. SO, I decided maybe I am still in starvation mode (even though I eat back the majority of my exercise calories) and always net around 1300-1400. I am thinking of trying the Olivia Method and upping my calories again.
Thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks!

I started using the Olivia Method last week after being at a stand-still for 2 months! I have lost 3 pounds in the last week!! It may not work for everyone, but it sure has worked for me! I feel better and have lots of energy so on the days that I do work out, I don't feel burnt out. It's nice to find a balance rather than trying to figure out whether to eat exercise calories back or not. This way you just eat the same everyday, whether you exercise or not! Good luck!:flowerforyou:0

It's going to take more than two weeks for your body to settle out from the change. Give it a couple more weeks and be sure to use other metrics, not just weight, to check progress (how your clothes fit, inches lost, how you feel, improved endurance/strength, etc). Also, one of the staples of the Olivia method is to not eat below your BMR. Make sure that 1420 is correct for that goal.
For instance, I learned that my BMR is 1540 and my TDEE (no exercise at all) is about 1860. That means I can only net ~300 calories at most per day if I don't do any intentional exercise.0
