Nine For Five Challenge

I was thinking I would like to spend the rest of Lent, not concentrating on what I can’t do (based on what is given up), but what I CAN do. What CAN we do? We can workout, workout, work!! So let’s start the Nine For Five challenge. The goal is to promote consistent exercise in our week.

How does it work?
It’s a quick and simple challenge. The goal is to lose a total of five (5) pounds by burning no less than 900 calories per week. The challenge is a total of four weeks. The weeks will run from Monday to Sunday from today through Sunday March 8th 2012. At the end of the four weeks we will see who is the biggest loser and who has lost 5lbs or more! There are only two weigh ins…..before and after!! Remember, it's not about the weight loss, just the workout.

Rules:
1. You may join at anytime during week one
2. With the exception of week one, if there has been less than three (3) posted workouts for the week, you will be “out”. Though you can still participate, you won’t be considered for the biggest loser winner at the end.
3. Anyone that buns less than 900 calories for the week will be gain one “imaginary pound”. This means a pound for each week under 900 cals will be added to your actual total. For example, if you lost 3 pounds and burned under 900 for one of the 4 weeks, we will only count 2lbs lost :glasses:

Tracking:
The spreadsheet holds up to 50 people so the first 50 are in.
Do not update or add data to any colored cells
You may update the spreadsheet at anytime with your workouts
The purpose is to keep everyone exercising consistently. The “rules” are for fun to keep everyone motivated, but it’s a friendly challenge.
