Kitchen Food Scales

I keep seeing people talk about Kitchen Scales for weighing their food. I've just been using this little digital postal scale. It weighs out grams, ounces or pounds. Do I really need to purchase a Kitchen Scale or is a scale a scale? Thanks!

Don't waste your money! - So long as your scales are accurate and can weigh your food who cares if the are not called "Kitchen Scales" :smile0

A scale is a scale. Kitchen scales are generally limited to 10 or 15 lbs max, but accurate in that range. A decent postage scale will do the same.0
