32 days til my wedding

Hey there folks!
I've been using MFP for months to just keep an eye on how I eat - having had a kidney transplant (for PKD) 3 years ago, I know how important it is to keep healthy to keep it going as long as possible. I've not consciously been dieting and my weight has been stable at between 74 and 75kg although that puts me slightly overweight (I'm 5' 7" so I should be around 72kg I think). I have been trying to do better at healthy living though, and have been following some of the 30 day shred posts with interest!
I've just got back from a week away in the Canary Islands where I did very little exercise and ate a three course dinner with wine every single night. Did no MFP logging at all during the week as I had no internet, but I know I ate a lot of crap - custard doughnuts, biscuits, red wine, beer... :blushing: had a great time, but really did let it all hang out a little! Mercifully, my weight doesn't appear to have increased by more than 0.3kg (less than half a pound)... I guess because I ate very little during the daytimes? Maybe I'll pay more this week cos it's a delayed response or something.
Anyway... I'm getting married on April 14th(!) :flowerforyou: and while my wedding dress fits well, I'd love to have a slimmer waist and more toned upper body by then as it's sleeveless. My goals are:
• to deal with my flabby arms and tone them up as much as possible
• to tighten my waist
• to lose 1.7kg (4lb) by April 14th - a pound a week
So, here's what I'm committing to for the next 4 and a half weeks....
• I will enter all my food and drink accurately on MFP every day
• I will not eat biscuits, pastries or any beige food of any kind
• I will ensure at least half my plate is full of veggies at dinner rather than pasta or rice
• I will do the 30 Day Shred EVERY DAY unless I'm carrying an injury
• I will post up a pic of me in the dress at the end to show how I got on.
Never really made a commitment to anything like this before. Bit scary! Here's hoping it goes well.... I'd welcome any support and encouragement while I go for it!

I'm engaged but have a year and a half until my wedding. I would definitley like to tone up my upper arms specifically the tricept area. I actually started my weight loss journey way before getting engaged. However it is definitley something that helps me stay on track. Since I know it's coming up and time flies.0
