Riddle me this Batman!
So the BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the amount of calories I would burn if I just laid around like a vegetable all day. Mine is 1267. So if I only eat 1200 calories a day, I am at -67. Why am I losing weight so sloooowly? Does my body think its starving? Should I up my calorie intake?

Yes,my opinion is to up your calories, OR if you want to eat that low most of the week have 1 high calorie day a week. Look into the Spike Diet.0

yes that is what i have been told. Mine is 1252 currently and i had a confusion of what to do too. I was told by so many that i should set my daily cals to 1252 min. eat that, no less. mfp would set me to 1200 with a 1 lb loss a week and if i do a ,5 loss it's 1310. I lost weight on 1200 cals but that only lasted 2 months, when i upped mine to the 1310 for a .5 loss a week i gained . so i am going in between and setting it at my bmr now and see what happens... it's hard when you don't have a whole lot to loose and especially if your short.. my maintenance is 1502, so i can't loose more then .5 a lb a week max to be healthy!0
