Treadmill incline seems to burn alot. can it be accurate? i use incline 15.0 at 6.1km/h speed.usually 30 mins

    Calorie burns on MFP, HR monitors, and gym equipment vastly over estimate what you burn. Just keep it in mind when eating.

    It does burn more when you incline. It's like walking uphill - how much harder is that than to walk on flat ground? The harder it is to do the more it will condition your body & burn cals :)

    I read a study that just recently came out that shows less time on the treadmill on incline actually burns more fat than more time on a flat treadmill. Now I can show you one fitness study and I'll show you 3 contradicting it, so take it with a grain of salt. My opinion is that if you're working harder, chances are you're burning more calories.
