Usually get a handful of roasted almonds for snack myself; that, or a turkey roll consisting of bell peppers wrapped by a slice of turkey (I usually throw in cheese as well, but realize you can't)....0

turkey roll sounds good. do you use deli turkey?0

I snack on nuts a lot - almonds and pecan mostly...I will also do
jerky (my husband makes his own so it is different then store bought which can be full of sodium),
cucumber slices (I like to marinate them in some vinegar - drain it off spinkle a little salt...),
red pepper strips (sweet and crunch at the same time) -
lower carb/sugar fruits like blueberries, strawberries (which are great slightly thawed from frozen)
homemade guacamole with some chopped tomatoes - use baby carrots or cucumber to dip0 -
I love egg white omelets with different veggies, even for a after dinner snack. Only 100 cal give or take depending what you put in them. Put it on a mini pita all for 70 more cal and 14 carbs.0

I eat cut up vegetables, nuts, some seeds, home made jerky and pemmican. Hard boiled eggs make good snacks as well.
Celery filled with almond butter is one of my favorites.0 -
thanks everyone!
i love jerky, but i don't have anyone to home-make it for me, lol. i know the stuff on the shelf wouldn't be as good for me. i definitely have been trying to eat more fruits - i love strawberries! and i might try the omelet thing.. i've never actually tasted an omelet, but i might as well! i need the protein.
btw, soy string cheese sounds terrible to me! haha. i don't really like the taste of cheese in general.0 -
sugar free jello and laughing cow cheese0
