YOUR DIET PROFILE TARGET
Calories Burned
From Normal Daily Activity 2,460 calories/day
Net Calories Consumed*
Your Daily Goal 1,990 calories/ day
Daily Calorie Deficit 470 calories
Projected Weight Loss 0.9 lbs/ week

This is a copy of my goals... what is daily calorie deficit? Is this good or bad.. should it be high or low? Im confused!

Daily deficit is how many you have left after you eat. In theory, the bigger the deficit, the more you lose. Doesn't always work like that though. Yours sounds like a good goal to me.

2460 minus 1990 = 470 (= your deficit). If you want to lose 1 pound per week, you need a total weekly decifit of 3,500 (that's 7 days x 500 calories). You could increase your deficit a bit ..... but be careful not to go below 1,200 for your daily goal. The 1200 calories is needed for daily bodily functions.
