The advantage of Insanity is that you don't need weights for it. I bought it, but after walking through the fitness test, decided I needed to work myself up to a point where I could do it effectively without injuring myself (I have a hard time holding back on things). I do expect to do the program some time this year. I just have to figure out my travel schedule and work it in.

You need nothing but yourself! Good luck. I'm on week 5.0

Only other thing I'd recommend depending on your workout surface is a plyo mat/yoga mat.
You do a bunch of jumping and depending on your surface, shoes, knees, back etc... You could injure yourself.
Take it slow to start and do what you can. It's a great program.
Have fun!

Yes all you need is your body but I did put some mats down in my exercise room when I started to make it easier on the knees. Good luck!0

Nope! You just need yourself. I have it and really like it, it is hard! I don't usually do the whole DVD and the warm-up is a workout all on its own.
Good luck! Let me know how it goes!0
