How would you fellow MFPer's recommend tracking exercises done with a video. Yesterday I did the Ripped in 30, today 6 week 6 pack. I tracked it as aerobics, general. Any advice?

I used to log it in as circuit training, but once I got a HRM I created the workout on my page and for that time, I calculated my calories burned based on my HR. HRM is really the best way to go.

I use an entry called "Calisthenics (Weight/Aerobic Videos)"

I adjust the calories burned (seems kinda high) to how hard I've worked in the past on the treadmill. For example, I know walking at a slow pace burns about 100 calories per 20 minutes, while walking hard at an incline burns about 100 cal per 10 minutes. So my entries are not exact. But I'm losing weight at the rate I told MFP I want to lose it, so I'm happy with this method.

I'm told you can get an exact measurement hy using a heart rate monitor.

I'm doing the 6 week 6 pack and logging it in as Circuit Training. But that's just a guess on my part. I have no idea what the real calories burned are. I don't want to spend the bucks on a HRM.

I look my workout videos up on collagevideo.com

It calls Ripped in 30 ...... High Impact, Intermediate/Advanced, Aerobics/Toning (in other words ....circuit training). The four workouts range from 31 to 35 minutes in length.

I wrtie this info on an index card & keep it in the DVD box. That way I don't have to look it up everytime. If you have lots of videos, it's easy to confuse.
