Ok the net numbers is the calories you have ate minus the exercise and I was told you needed to eat those calories back? Is that correct so right now have 78 calories remaining i started at 1210 I will go the gym for an 1hr 30 mins and burn another 400 500 calories in addition to 162 I have already burned so i need to eat all of that back?

If your calories burned are accurate, then an easier way is to get the green "remaining" numbers as close to zero as possible.

Agreed. Try to keep your net calories close to the suggested daily calorie intake MFP has bestowed. You don't want to eat far under that number as many people have been confused about in the past.
