what is the right number of carbs to eat and STILL los weight???

    when you enter your food for the day it shows you the amount your allowed to use. i go by that i have lost 88 pounds
  • well it shows I am allowed 165!!! now dosent that seem high
    If I wanted to do low carb. what would a good number be?

    Thats a loaded question. I am a true believer of the Atkins method. It just works for me. After switching to low cal, I gained. I lost 80 lbs using the Atkins diet. For the first 2 weeks you stay at 20 carbs and then after that you can eat more. If you are interested, go to the website: www.atkins.com and it will tell you how to do it and what you can expect. My only warning to you....it is harder to commit to low carb than anything. It is my understanding that Southbeach gives you more options but I have never tried that method.

    am trying to see what is a good amount of carbs to eat and still be able to lose weight.
    I love to eat fruit and fruit has alot of carbs.

    (why would this program allow 165 for carb allowance) dosent sound right.
