OK - I do a LOT of workout videos --- Biggest Loser ones mostly b/c they have different levels AND they don't have little skinny muscley toothpicks doing the workouts...they have REAL people doin' 'em. I came home & did the Level 3 High Intensity Cardio on their Cardio Max video & I'm sweatin' in places I didn't know I had & my HRM shows I only burned SIXTEEN calories!!! Can that even be right? I'm new to using one of these things, so I don't know. My heart rate stayed steady at 136.
Thanks.

sweat does not = calorie burn or else I'd already be skinny
16 calories sounds completely wrong though, I probably burn 16 calories drinking a coffee. What type of HRM are you using? Did you wet the electrodes before starting your workout? Have you set your age & weight parameters? Did you sync them before starting your workout?0
