  • make sure you eat enough. drink enough water. get enough sleep. take it easy on yourself. this is a process. don't give up before you even get started. you have to want this for yourself whether people notice or not. it should be about how YOU feel, not how others react.

Good luck--i hope you stick to your goals and never give up on yourself. you'll get there! Slow and steady! :)

Every Friday at my office somebody brings in breakfast. It can be anything from a HUGE bowl of fruit to cereal to Chick-Fil-A chicken minis and Krispy Kreme dounuts. Friday a week and a half ago, it was chicken minis and FRESH Krispy Kreme glazed donuts. I fell off the wagon. I thought that one day would be it. WRONG! Other days brought more goodies that I couldn't pass up. I was working out on the eliptical trainer, even started on the stair master to punish, er...make up for not eating right. I was angry with myself for not being able to control my intake. I finally sat myself down and I had a long talk with me. Felt much better after that. I still may fall off the wagon, but I think I can keep it to one day instead of nearly a whole week. I just have to make sure I stay focused on the goal and keep busy. Boredom is a new lifestyle (can't say the "D" word! ) killer.

You're doing great. You're doing it one day at a time. The weight didn't add up overnight. It won't go off that quickly either and it takes work and determination. You have that determination, or you wouldn't be here and you wouldn't have started this thread. You just needed a little push to get you back on track.

Are you logging everything you eat in your diary? That has been a big help to me. I never realized how much bad stuff I was eating and how much of it I've been able to cut out. My weakness is boneless wings from Hooters. I go there once a week for lunch, but get a salad instead of french fries. I don't miss the fries. Sorry this is so long, but I hope it helps.
